ABSTRACT The author examines the characteristics of the advice in psychosomatic diseases of the colon and rectum, from many years of experience working with an ostomy Center. Is differentiated clinical work with patients with malignant disease than on other syndromes (RCU, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation) on the basis of the diagnosis of personality groups, which was done the research. Diagnostic tools have included projective tests of personality and character Questionnaire (IPAT Anxiety Scale). Observed in patients with cancer, anxiety, in relation to the underlying disease, appeared insensitive to rehabilitation techniques, but at significantly lower in those workers. Among patients with non-neoplastic diseases, there was evidence of many people with anxiety levels on the borderline between neurosis and psychosis, borderline personality matching structures. The psychopathological encountered highlight the need for psychological interventions and support interdisciplinary liaison.
