ABSTRACT This study aims to investigate the stability of self-image and any alteration in the levels of awareness of the boundaries of her body, seen as key mediator between the self and the outside world. The analysis of the boundaries of the self was conducted on a sample of 16 women with primary infertility psychogenic, 20/40 years age-range, and 17 healthy subjects, female, same age. We analyzed the responses to the Rorschach test for highlighting content and penetration barrier, according to the method of Fisher and Cleveland, and such contents have been expanded further with the evaluation of Border size static / dynamic boundary Saracens and Ruggeri. Rorschach was then accompanied to the analysis of the representations provided to the reagent of human figure drawings, K. Machover. The psychological perception of the boundaries of your body is deficient in the sample of patients with infertility: the size of the static boundary is clearly inadequate, with a strong penalty against the contents of the Barrier. This does imply a lack of cohesion psychosomatic buoyancy in these subjects and a breakdown of the defensive functions act from your body. This finding is further supported by analysis of the drawings, which show the existence of a serious disturbance in the design of its body schema.
